Terramark is excited to announce our new affordable community, Dorie Commons. Located near St. Phillips college, local churches, and downtown hospitals, Dorie Commons provides easy access to your everyday life. While Terramark is excited to announce our newest affordable project Dorie Commons, this project wouldn’t be possible without the kickstart of our non profit organization, Terrafirma Homes. Dorie Commons will feature a total of 20 homes with two floor plans. The Travis and Austin plans. Dorie Commons will also include an upgraded refrigerator along with a stainless steel appliances.
Doris Miller (October 12, 1919 – November 24, 1943) was the first Black recipient of the Navy Cross and a nominee for the Medal of Honor. As a mess attendant second class in the United States Navy, Miller helped carry wounded sailors to safety during the attack on Pearl Harbor. He then manned an anti-aircraft gun and, despite no prior training in gunnery, shot down between 4 and 6 enemy planes.
